Welcome!

What is Random Acts of the Spirit? It is the hub for a variety of on-going fiction projects I am working on. But there is more to it than that. The meaning is wrapped up in the name:

Random- (1) I can't seem to focus on one story when I try to write, so the progression of these several stories will seem, well, random!
(2) Ministry does not happen on a schedule. It kinda seems, well, random!
(3) If the wisdom of God is foolishness to man, then His schedule might seem, well, random!

Acts- (1) The chapters of these stories, like acts of a play. They will come randomly. Got the concept yet?
(2) Actions of doing ministry, in this particular case, these stories.
(3) The book of Acts is a history of the early ministry of the church, as well as the movements of...

The Spirit- (1) Some writers speak of a muse. But I know where my inspiration and ideas come from.
(2) I write using the gifts and graces God has given me through His Holy Spirit
(3) My goal is to tell of the mighty works God is wanting to do in our lives, though in fictional form. But there is an underlying truth (I hope) in the midst of the fiction.

So, I hope you enjoy, are challenged, and find God in these stories.
